Emanuel Barbosa has been working on graphic design since 1992.

Initially working as a freelance designer, alone or in team, he worked integrated in various projects, institutions and companies until 1998 when he founded the company Vestígio, Consultores de Design, Lda. The main activity of this design consultancy is the development of multidisciplinary projects (graphic, web, interiors and equipment) and also the import, distribution and retail of designer objects and furniture in a project with the visibility of the online shop Vestigio.com

From the beginning, Emanuel Barbosa chooses to embrace print, web, illustration, environments, product and fashion rather than specialize is design approach. Graphic design has been is first and major passion, therefore since 1998 he teaches this discipline at ESAD - Escola Superior de Artes e Design (Matosinhos, Portugal) and organizes exhibitions, workshops and lectures about this theme.
